THANK YOU!!!!
Many thanks to the Alameda School SCC for sponsoring this meaningful and worthwhile event. Our students engaged in 4 different stations where learning was focused on residential schools and our commitment to healing. A special thank you to Amos McArthur of Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation and Racquel Bellefleur, Instructional Coach (Treaty Education) from the SECPSD leadership group, for sharing some historical information and their own knowledge with us through Moccasin Games and a floor map exercise. Thank you also to Melissa Gervais and crew for creating a delicious lunch of Buffalo Stew and Bannock. We are so grateful for the time we spent together - fellowship and fun!!
