Supervision
Supervisors will be on duty on the school grounds the following times: 8:30-8:45am, 10:30-10:45 am (recess), 12:30-1:00 pm, 2:30-2:45 pm (recess), 3:35-3:45pm. During lunch (12:15-12:30 pm) there will be two supervisors inside who then move outside with the students for the remainder of the noon hour. Please DO NOT send students to school before 8:30am.
Drop-off & Pick-up/Parent Drivers
Parents who pick up and drop off are asked to park alongside the sidewalk, single file, leading to the school’s parking lot. Please do not park along the “residential side” as we do not want kids going between vehicles and crossing the parking lot. Parents, please let grandparents, caregivers, etc., know. Let’s keep all our students safe! The pick up/drop off for busses will be along the “east” fence line and not in the parking lot.
Noon Hour
There are no microwaves available for student use, so please pack appropriate lunches that do not require reheating. The Alameda Parent Meal Committee (PMC) provides a milk program at lunch, $25 for 20 punches. All town students are encouraged to go home for lunch and return between 12:50-12:55. We will make an exception for students whose parents are working or when students are involved in extracurricular activities. Please note that grade 8 and 9 students will no longer require parent permission via a note or phone call to go downtown at lunchtime. However, they will be expected to sign out when they leave and sign back in when they return. The sign out sheet will be located in the front office.
