We would like to welcome Mrs. Joey Henrion to Alameda School this year!!! Mrs. Henrion will be teaching Science 5/6, Social Studies 5/6, and Arts Education 5/6. She will be supporting other teachers in the K-2 and grade 7-9 classrooms as well.
We can't wait for you all to meet her!!
I asked Mrs. Henrion to write a simple introduction of herself for our school families, and this is what she had to say:
Hi! My name is Joey Henrion. I am from Carnduff, Saskatchewan, and a mom of three busy boys. I have lived in the southeast for most of my life, and have subbed and worked in the school division for 8 years on and off. My biggest passion is gardening and being outside with family. We spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer fishing, kayaking, at the beach, in the garden, and sitting around campfires. In the winter, you can find me at the rink most days! I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of the students that I teach and I am looking forward to a great school year ahead!
